Learning outcomes:
The aim of the course is to equip students with such knowledge, skills and general competencies that after completing:
- demonstrates knowledge of current legal standards in the health care system in the Czech Republic
- demonstrates the ability to orientate in the system of general health insurance with its organization and legislative standards that define it
- demonstrates the ability to orientate in information about the health status of the population, especially with regard to the main profession of physiotherapist
- demonstrates knowledge of the responsibilities and rights of patients and healthcare professionals, the protection of personal data in healthcare and the GDPR
- demonstrates knowledge of health education issues in relation to the legislation of the Czech Republic and also topics related to quality management of health services provided and ensuring patient safety
