Learning outcomes:

The aim of the course is to equip students with such knowledge, skills and general competencies that after completing:

demonstrates knowledge of current legal standards in the health care system in the Czech Republic

demonstrates the ability to orientate in the system of general health insurance with its organization and legislative standards that define it

demonstrates the ability to orientate in information about the health status of the population, especially with regard to the main profession of physiotherapist

demonstrates knowledge of the responsibilities and rights of patients and healthcare professionals, the protection of personal data in healthcare and the GDPR

demonstrates knowledge of health education issues in relation to the legislation of the Czech Republic and also topics related to quality management of health services provided and ensuring patient safety
