The course covers the main cognitive functions and their impairments, including syndromic conditions in the context of dementia, stroke and head injury. A few examples of tests are used to demonstrate how cognitive functions are assessed in neuropsychology. In the final module of the course, practical exercises about planning a neuropsychological assessment and differntial diagnosis are conducted in groups.

The final test regards all topics covered in the course and is organised in 40 multiple choices questions about theoretical knowledge and an open question about a clinical case.
