Předmět pokrývá základní oblasti sociologie médií a seznamuje studenty s hlavními paradigmaty, důležitými postavami a klíčovými texty. Zvláštní důraz je kladen na společenské souvislosti žurnalistiky a nových médií

The course provides introduction to historical developments and theoretical reflections of interactive media. We will look at important authors, texts, and arguments. We will explore various perspectives how to look at and analyze interactive media, and use these perspectives to illuminate selected cases.

Course aimed at methods of interpretation of reality by tools of audiovisuality. 12 lectures provide theoretic approaches of (particularly) non-fiction film to relationship between "objective" reality and "author´s subjectivity". Thesis are demonstrated by excerpts of classic and contemporary documentary films. A lecturer apply also his filmmaker´s point of view at a process of creativity.
