The courses Statistics 1 (APS100077) and Statistics 2 (APS100078) provide an introduction to statistical concepts and methods in psychology.

Statistics 1 (winter semester) focuses on basic terminology, descriptive statistics, and the foundations of inductive reasoning.

Statistics 2 (summer semester) builds directly on this foundation and develops students’ understanding of hypothesis testing and statistical inference.

Throughout both courses, students will practice applying statistical techniques to empirical data from psychological research.
