  There are two broad areas of ethical issues in research. Many ethical rules apply to all kinds of scientific research. The second group of rules guides the research activities in sensitive areas. In this unit we briefly introduce both of them. We also want you to think about how you can apply the rules to your thesis or to other research projects you are involved in.
