Final Exam Instructions

Prepare a short statistical analysis on a topic of your choice using an existing dataset. The analysis must employ multivariate regression with at least three theoretically motivated independent variables.

Your study should include:

• A brief literature review
• Clearly formulated hypotheses
• An empirical analysis testing these hypotheses

Present your regression results using tables and figures of publication quality.

In addition, based on your regression findings, propose a strategy for selecting a case study (e.g., a deviant case or a pathway case).

Presentation

Each analysis will be presented in a 12–15 minute time slot.

Deliverables

• PowerPoint presentation (2 days before the presentation)
• R code used for the analysis (2 days before the presentation)
• Optional: short written report (up to 1,200 words)
