  1. Speaker’s presentation skills

The speaker used concise, simple, and impactful language. He was engaging and interesting without sounding wordy or unnecessarily complicated. It is my belief that being able to convey even the most complicated thoughts in a very simple way is a sign of a great speaker. Therefore, I think his presentation skills were really good.

  1. Summarization

The speaker talked about how to encourage a productive and good debate in the public space. Even though debates might be sometimes hard and it can be almost impossible to judge whether or not some topics should be banned and whether some opinions are wrong, it is important to have these conversations. The speaker thinks that it is more important to provide people with more information and feed healthy discussion rather than ban certain topics and provides examples of successful discussions in the past.
