Originally, I wanted to use a different website (vocabulary.com) but I found out that it actually works a bit differently than I originally thought (you can not create your own definitions there, they already have words and their definitions that do not change. Also, there are usually only single words - so almost no phrases or idioms). It is, however, still a great tool to learn advanced vocabulary so I at least created a list of single words from all weeks). It works as flashcards or if you click on "practice" the site shows you the word and 4 definitions, one of which is correct. Sometimes it is quite tricky! After a correct guess it shows you a broader definition and some historical/contextual fact. I think it's pretty neat. Hope the link works.
