Body, Health and Society: Synopsis

Hello everyone, I would like to ask you :) We must write 4 synopsis. Is it from the article, which we get on every week?

So, for this week it is this? Mauss 2006 (1973)_Techniques of the body_read mainly chapters: 1,2,4Soubor?

Hi Petra! When you look at the this week's compulsory reading it says Mauss, Marcel... pages 50 to 68. But the the Mauss text uploaded to the Moodle shows pages 77-95 (or "Techniques of the Body") That doesn't matter because it's the same text. So we read these pages uploaded here:

and, with the help of the guiding questions, create the 100 to 250 word synopsis which should include:
- the main argument of the author
- the context the author presets their arguments in (paradigm: directs epistemological assumption, suitable methods, questions asked)
- one of your own comment or question (did you find something interesting in particular in the text? Do you not agree with something in the text? Do you not understand something in the text?)

Iva, thank you a lot! Your answer help me a lot :) I was confused, because pages was different in Moodle and uploaded pages.
