1. Look at the following structures:

noun + noun

noun’s + noun

noun + of + noun

What is the difference between them? When do you choose one over the other? Are there any rules governing their choice?

2. Study this problem by looking on the noun body. Look up the three patterns in the COCA. When would you say:

body + noun

body’s + noun

noun + of + the body

3. (Homework) Use an AI tool to prepare a handout which would explain the difference between the three patterns to medical students. Make sure you prepare good teaching material. If you prefer, you may chose some other word to explain this grammatical point. Submit two files: a copy of your conversations with an AI tool and your final handout.
