Describe an Online Learning Theory (5 points)
Overview: To help you learn more about the theories that describe and inform learning in an online environment, you will be assigned a theory to explore and describe in class on 5 March. During class on 5 March you will have two roles: you will describe your section to your group members and you will take notes based on other group members’ explanations of their theories.
Deliverable: At the end of class on 5 March, each person will turn in the notes to the instructor that they took based on the template provided. This is an individual assignment.
Directions:
Step 1: During class on 5 March, present the following brief summary about the learning theory you have been given. Include the following information:

One piece of advice for creating an online tutorial based on what you learned about this theory
Step 2: Describer role - when it is your turn, describe your theory to your group mates. You will have approximately 4 minutes to describe your section.
Step 3: Note taker role - listen to the descriptions given by your other group members. Take notes on the template provided based on the information they share. Notes must include at least two of the following items:
