Instructions for the ELST presentations in the Winter term 2025/26

Presenters
1. Read the text in the Moodle that goes with your topic (see the folde below). This is the foundation of your presentation.
2. With your colleague in pair (when applicable), prepare a visually attractive presentation for c. 10 minutes. Try to involve the rest of the class.
3. In the week before your presentation prepare a simple and short questionnaire (see the example below) and distribute it (digitally) to the rest of the class.
4. As part of your presentation, summarize the results of the questionnaire survey. This should take somewhere between 3–5 minutes. Thus the whole length of your presentation ought not to exceed 15 minutes. 

The rest of the class
1. In preparation for each week's presentation complete the task set out in this doccument (Accompanying tasks: https://dl1.cuni.cz/mod/page/view.php?id=896549)
2. Complete the survey which the presenters have sent to you.

Example of questionnaire survey for topic 1 (Advanced language proficiency)
How confident do you feel about your current English grammar skills? (1–5 scale)
Which language skill do you find most challenging: speaking, listening, reading, or writing?
Have you studied advanced grammar topics before? (Yes/No)
How often do you practice English outside of class? (Daily/Weekly/Rarely)
What do you hope to improve in your English proficiency during this course?

The questionnaire may be longer but ought not to go beynd 10 questions.
