5.4 Meet the supervisor

Following task is meant to be face to face activity. You have a great opportunity to meet a senior supervisor. He/she will share their thoughts and experience with you!

The teacher will arrange a meeting and provide you with information about date and place of the meeting. To complete this activity, you will need to actively participate in the meeting.

The supervisor will certainly cover the following areas:

• What are the benefits and pitfalls of supervision from the supervisor’s view?
• How does the supervisor understand her/his responsibility to students
• Does the supervisor use any guidelines obligatory for all students or does he/she rely more on relationship with a particular student?
