What should my presentation look like?

• avoid too much text – no complete sentences (x quotations, definitions, theorems)
• number the slides 
• formulae not as inserted pictures
• spelling impeccable (+ ideally correct grammar)
• don’t go wild with colours
• use one font
• use a font that supports all the symbols you will need in your presentation
• 1st slide should be informative:
  • where you are from (university),
  • what your name is,
  • title of the talk,
  • the occasion for which you prepared the presentation (e.g. seminar, conference),
  • date (and place)
