Project

At the end of the course you will be required to submit a project. You will work on the project individually. The project will involve the following tasks:

1. Compilation of a small ESP corpus (minimum 30 thousand words) on a chosen topic.
2. Basic analyses of the corpus: a list of terminology and frequent collocations, and an examination of at least one more linguistic feature related to a grammatical pattern or a discourse structure.
3. Exploring the generative AI to gain insights into the studied ESP variety
4. Preparation of two lesson (lesson plans + teaching materials)
   
   1. • One including activities based on the compiled corpus (corpus-informed materials and/or classroom concordancing)
      • One including activities based on generative AI
5. Writing a report
6. In class presentation
