I'm repeatedly asked whether it is allowed to participate repeatedly at the final exam if someone wants to improve his result. To clarify this point: Yes, it is allowed. But, the last result you've obtained will determine your final grade.
As far as the scale concerns we usually set the final scale after the third term because the grading is somehow relative - we don't want to have a lot of people with just one point below better grade for example. Nevertheless information about last years' scale might be helpful.
2009/2010:
85-100 - 1
70 -84 - 2
55 -69 - 3
less - 4 (not pass)
2008/2009
87-100 = 1
75- 86 = 2
50- 74 = 3
less = 4
