Children can write words that are hard to remember on tags and stickers and attach them to things with identical meaning in their room. For example, Ss writes down the word "curtain" and attaches it to a real curtain in his room. Whenever he looks in the direction of his window, he sees the written form of the word and the thing it represents.
This can be a great way of memorizing nouns, such as furniture, office supplies, food, etc.
That's a really cool idea for the decoration in the classroom. The Ss can create fancy tags during Arts and crafts and then use them during English lessons for other activities (the T can remove them or mix them and Ss will try to put them at the right place).
Dear Zuzka,
I think that your idea could be very useful especially for visual type of learners. I like your idea, because I am a visual type of learner and I would really enjoy learning vocabulary through tags and stickers. Great idea!
I also appreciate that children can use this way of learning at home and also at school.
Dear Zuzka,
I love your idea. I think the stickers and tags are great for the classroom and for the children's learning at home as well. I like Maruška's idea that you could make the stickers and tags in your classes. Children could use their creativity and remember the words even better.
You could use them to revise as well. Put them together and make students run and match them with things they represent.
