Word wheel

I found this word wheel in Pinterest and I consider it as a good way to learn or practice new words. Of course, teachers during this activity should help Ss a lot, because not every part of the wheel would be easy to do for them. It may be good after recollecting the words theoretically, but I find it very useful and I think it may be entertaining for Ss. They can use a lot of ways to work with limited number of words and it leads to better remembering through playful activity. I attached the word wheel.

This looks very interesting and I think the students would love it! It covers a lot of aspects of knowing a word- they have to understand the meaning and also pronounce it correctly (in order to create the rhyme) but also the function of the word in a sentence (part of speech). In my opinion it would be a perfect way of revising new vocabulary but I also think we could use it even earlier when Ss don't know all these things yet. My idea is that they could work in groups/pairs together and find these information out and then present them to others- each group would focus on one word or one task from the wheel.

I really like this idea, it could be challenging for different types of learners. It works with different learning styles. I think that creative types of children would like to draw it, Ss who aren't shy would like to act it, ... I think that we can use it in many various activities such as working in groups (as Míša said), or discover a game connected with this wheel, ...

I love this activity. It reminds me of the game Activity, which children enjoy even in their free time.
Some of the tasks are maybe to hard but if the children worked in groups, they could find the solution together. I can imagine that teacher could use it to revise words they learned in previous lessons.

That's so cool! This way you have an activity for the speedsters. Ss who finish the activity first just go to the wheel and practise their vocabulary, lovely!

This looks like a very entertaining and funny activity. I would probably use it during revision lessons or instead of a typical examination.
