- Are the Hungarian revolts in the first part of 17th century are made in the name of Hungarian people and its legal and cultural recognition (so supported by the people, which would be the first manifestations of what will lead the Habsburg empire to its decline during the 19th through all Europe) or just fight from aristocracy and princes to maintain their own power (especially if, as Evans says it : « A major feature of the sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries was the emergence of a new mandate élite »)?

 

- During the 18th century, the Habsburg enlisted in a massive reconquest of the Turkish part of Hungary. Leading to many revolts and rebellions against the Habsburg, was the everyday life in the former Turkish part more pleasant ? And also, did the Habsburg consider this possible « freedom » as a threat for the Austrian power ?
