Interesting topic, supreme graphics. I watched for a few minutes myself and I can very much recommend the presentation.

Hello, thank you for your talk, it was mostly understandable and refering to Jarník is just savage in my opinion :D. I am just wondering about one thing: In a definition of a cut, you had the lower group and the upper group, does this also mean that these "groups" are indeed groups in a standard algebraic sense i.e. you have a binary operation there, which is associative, you have a neutral element and every element has an inverse (with respect to that operation)? I am aware that this question is a little weird and the answer is probably no, but if you know something more about that, I would like to know.

Hello Vojta, thank you for this wonderful presentation! I would like to ask you a question. Was Mr. Jarnik's proof somehow innovative or crucial for this topic, or is he just your favorite mathematician?
