I opened the possibility for you to insert the first task (concept map) into the moodle already. I still see only two female students enrolled. Please sign up and submit your first assignment within a week. Get ready for our next meeting.

The second taks is:
SOCIAL AND CULTURAL PILLARS of sustainable development.
These pillars are based on soft science.
You should know these terms:
- culture, mass culture, alternative culture,
- human population, fertility, mortality, migration, standard of living, social capital.
- customs and traditions,
- cultural differences, culture clash, social equity,
- livability, health equity, community development, human rights, placemaking, social responsibility, social jsutice, cultural competence, human adaptation.
and explain them in context.
Your task:
- You can find the terms on wikipedia or in the sources to which I have shared links (Khan academy).
- Choose one theme (in sustainability and educational context – for example number of childeren in typical family) and think What is right? What is prohibited? And write examples from several diferent cultures and explain how these differences affect to behavior and decision making.
- Write what do you thing about Polyandry in Tibet (in sustainability and educational context).

Why are urban residents more at risk than rural residents?
How pandemics and epidemics (plague, tuberculosis) influenced human behavior, science and research?
Select one pandemic and capture in the table the behavior of people before and after it.
