E-learningový kurz pro studenty VŠUP
Kurz je určen pro všechny studenty Vysoké školy uměleckoprůmyslové, jejichž znalost anglického jazyka je na pokročilé úrovni (B2, popř. C1). V použitých textech, obrazové příloze, poslechu, ve slovní zásobě i v (interaktivních) úkolech se tematicky soustředí na oblast dějin výtvarného a užitého umění, popř. na techniky výroby, materiály a postupy, a to do té míry, aby byly splněny základní cíle kurzu, tj. aby byl student/studentka schopen/-schopna odborně a kriticky mluvit a psát o své práci, práci ve svém ateliéru či o tvorbě ostatních autorů působících ve stejné či odlišné umělecké oblasti a aby se dokázal/a orientovat a aktivně zapojovat do diskusí o dějinách umění, resp. o svém uměleckém oboru. Slovní zásoba i témata zohledňují skladbu studijních zaměření na VŠUP.
Součástí kurzu jsou následující aktivity:
- rozšiřování slovní zásoby
- aplikace gramatických dovedností (frekvenční přístup)
- zdokonalení schopnosti číst odborné texty a rozumět jim
- zlepšení dovednosti rozumět mluvenému slovu
- zdokonalení písemného projevu (nadvětná syntax, strukturace textu)
Podmínkou absolvování tohoto kurzu je 70% úspěšnost (součet splněných úkolů + procenta úspěšnosti). Přitom z písemných úkolů stačí odevzdat pouze polovinu (výběr témat je zcela na vás.)
Pokud si nebudete vědět s gramatikou, využívat můžete programu zvaného English Metacourse (na hlavní stránce). V něm najdete vysvětlené základní gramatické jevy anglické gramatiky. Společně s ostatními studenty si také můžete vytvářet slovník.
