The course focuses on learning the basics of qualitative methodology. Students will be introduced to the following topics: the theoretical foundations of the qualitative paradigm and how it differs from quantitative research; qualitative research approaches and strategies; methods for sample selection, data collection, analysis, and interpretation of qualitative data.
In the workshop part of the course, students will be introduced to examples of qualitative methods, which they will have the opportunity to practice.
