Local destination survey (field activity)

  • Aim: To identify and analyse the effectiveness of communication tools in a real environment.
  • How to:
    • Select a local destination (e.g. a popular tourist spot in the city).
    • Analyse signage, information boards, availability of information, accessibility for foreign tourists (e.g. translations), don't forget the web.
    • Finally, suggest what could be improved to make communication more effective.
