V přirozeném projevu běžně používáme různé fráze, jako například “I don’t know, you know, nebo I want to jako samostatné jednotky. Následkem toho může docházet k tomu, že se některé hlásky na konci a začátku některých slov změní nebo zmizí. Když se naučíte toto rozpoznávat, pomůže vám to při porozumění, a tím, že se je naučíte používat, zlepšíte si svoji plynulost projevu.
