4.7 Informed Consent Design
Completion requirements
In this activity, you will apply the knowledge from the previous activities. You will be assigned to groups and you will be working together on an informed consent form for one group member’s master thesis research (collaborative effort). Before starting your work, check the attached sample form. You might also search the web for the sample forms from your area of research. Note that the sample form is comprised of two parts:
- participant information sheet
- consent form
A participant will keep a copy of the information sheet and should sign the consent form.
Assignment
Create a new post in the discussion forum stating (1) title of thesis; (2) members of the group. Attach a text file with a draft informed consent form for a thesis of a group member.
