This course is an introduction to the study of (post)secularity and the management of religious diversity. It mainly focuses on case studies from Europe and offers a multidisciplinary perspective that includes sociology, anthropology and human geography. The course combines lectures providing a theoretical and methodological toolkit with seminars where students are supposed to present their research projects in front of the class.

The main objective of the course is to provide experience with interdisciplinary research design, data gathering and analysis, and research dissemination. By the end of the course, students are expected to:
- plan and conduct a small research project
- be familiar with mixed methods in the study of religion
