The course aims are to introduce students to the European and national policies towards Roma and Travellers - to point out at the mechanisms of discrimination, exclusion and stereotyping. We will think about ways how policies are invented and how groups are labelled. Students will get an overview of the topic and will explore several themes through detailed case studies.
